Take Metrobus 291 from Tunbridge Wells Royal Victoria Parade (outside Metrobank) at 11.52 to arrive outside the Crown, Groombridge, at 12.07. Catch the return bus at 13.18 to Rusthall Road for a short walk to the Toad Rock Retreat which serves food and possibly beer unusual to the area. Return to Tunbridge Wells on the frequent Arriva 281 bus to visit pubs there.

Branch Social by bus to the pubs of Westerham (and Hayes). Take Go bus number 1 from Sevenoaks bus station at 11.36 to arrive in Westerham at noon and visit the George & Dragon and Grasshopper on the Green (Kings Arms is closed for refurbishment). Then take Stagecoach bus 246 from Westerham at 13.31 to arrive in Hayes at 14.08 and visit the Real Ale Way micropub, returning to Westerham on either the 15.06 or 15.35 from Hayes to connect with the 16.28 Go bus back to Sevenoaks. On the outward journey, the Arriva 402 buses leaving from Tunbridge Wells rail station at 10.16 and 10.36 via Tonbridge connect with the Sevenoaks service to Westerham.
