Arriva bus 402 leaves at 11.25 from Tunbridge Wells railway station via Tonbridge castle (11.56), arriving at Sevenoaks bus station at 12.16. The 402 runs half-hourly to connect to Tonbridge and the Humphrey Bean.

For this social we visit the pubs of Matfield and Pembury by bus. Take Arriva bus number 6 from Tunbridge Wells railway station stop C at 11.30 via Pembury Hospital at 11.46 (Arriva bus 219 at 11.12am from Tonbridge Quarry Hill Parade connects to the hospital) to arrive in Matfield at 11.59 to visit the Star Inn and the Poet. Buses 6 and 297 return to Pembury for visiting the Camden Arms, Black Horse and King William IV.
