Branch social by train to Shoreham, with the option of a pre-refreshment walk, to visit the three pubs in the village, two of which - the Crown and the Kings Arms - have recently acquired new licensees.

in order to make better use of time (and also bearing in mind that for anyone interested in football the European Cup final kicks off at 5pm) we will be starting our social on an earlier train (than advertised in the newsletter). For those coming on the walk we'll be catching the train two hours earlier ie Tunbridge Wells 12.39; High Brooms 12.43; Tonbridge 12.50; Sevenoaks 12.59. Then change at Sevenoaks to catch the 13.22 and alight at Otford 13.29. We can have a drink at the Whiting & Hammond Bull at Otford before a two mile walk via the golf course to the Crown at the far end of Shoreham.

For non-walkers, catch the train timed at one hour later. Return trains leave Shoreham hourly at 45 minutes past the hour.
