Social visit to the Orpington Liberal Club Easter Beer and Cider Festival. Thursday is the preview evening from 6pm onwards for Club and CAMRA members only. Card payments only. Some of us will be taking the opportunity to visit the One Inn The Wood micropub in Petts Wood beforehand using the train from Tunbridge Wells at 15.19 via High Brooms (15.23), Tonbridge (15.30) and Sevenoaks (15.41) to Orpington (15.49), then changing trains for a three minute hop to Petts Wood. Return trains from Orpington run half hourly at 22 and 52 minutes past the hour until late.

Branch social by bus to the Dovecote Inn, Capel, to present the pub with their Village Pub of the Year award. Take Autocar bus 205 from Tonbridge High St (stop F outside Boots chemist) at either 12.08 or 13.08 to alight at Five Oak Green, Sychem Lane bus stop, for a 15 minute walk along Sychem Lane and Alders Road to the pub. Access via the same route using the same bus service from the Paddock Wood direction. Presentation will be made shortly after the end of food serving time around 2.30pm.
