  • Branch Social to Lamberhurst Wednesday 17 June 2026 11:15 Chequers

    Branch social by bus to the Chequers, Lamberhurst. Take Autocar bus 256 from Tunbridge Wells War Memorial stop Q at 11.15am to arrive in Lamberhurst at 11.40. The Chequers serves very good food and should be serving an additional beer to their regular Harvey’s Best. Return on the 13.40 bus from Lamberhurst back to Tunbridge Wells with a chance to visit some Tunbridge Wells pubs. We will decide where we might go on the day.

    England play Croatia on this day but not until 9pm so it does allow plenty of time for people wishing to watch the football.

  • Branch Social to Groombridge and Rusthall Thursday 25 June 2026 11:52 Crown Inn

    Branch social by bus to Groombridge and Rusthall. Take Metrobus 291 from Tunbridge Wells Royal Victoria Parade (outside Metrobank) at 11.52 to arrive outside the Crown, Groombridge, at 12.07. Catch the return bus at 13.18 to Rusthall Road for a short walk to the Toad Rock Retreat which serves food and usually beer unusual to the area. Return to Tunbridge Wells on the frequent Arriva 281 bus to visit Tunbridge Wells pubs.

  • Branch Social to Hastings Friday 3 July 2026 Test venue

    Branch social by train to Hastings for a day at the seaside, fish & chips and a variety of pubs mainly on the front and Old Town. Take the 10.49 train from Sevenoaks calling at Tonbridge (10.59), High Brooms (11.05) and Tunbridge Wells (11.10) arriving in Hastings at 11.47. Return trains from Hastings are two per hour up to 19.30 then hourly at 50 minutes past the hour.
