Branch Pub of the Year Presentation to the Halfway House Brenchley Friday 22 May 2026 Halfway House
Visit the Halfway House May Beer Festival for the presentation of their award of Runner-up Branch Pub of the Year. We will take Hams Travel 297 bus from Tunbridge Wells railway station stop C at 12.15 (Monson Road stop M at 12.17) via Pembury Hospital (12.28) to arrive outside the Halfway House (ring the bell!) at 12.48. Return buses leave at 14.52, 16.46 and 18.32. Arriva Bus 219 connects Tonbridge to Pembury Hospital. The Halfway House are also running a free minibus service connecting with Horsmonden and Paddock Wood Train Station. Details of times are on their flyer on their Facebook page.

Branch Social to Shoreham Kent Saturday 30 May 2026 Crown
Branch social by train to Shoreham, with the option of a pre-refreshment walk, to visit the three pubs in the village, two of which - the Crown and the Kings Arms - have recently acquired new licensees. For walkers, catch the 14.39 train from Tunbridge Wells via High Brooms (14.43) and Tonbridge (14.50) to Sevenoaks (14.58) then change trains for the 15.22 arriving in Shoreham at 15.32. After the walk start at the Crown at the far end of the village where food is served throughout the afternoon. For non-walkers, catch the train timed at one hour later. Return trains leave Shoreham hourly at 45 minutes past the hour.
