Branch Social to the Kent & East Sussex Railway Real Ale and Cider Festival in Tenterden (free entry with CAMRA card). There are two options for travel. Firstly, take the Hams Travel bus 297 from from Tunbridge Wells at either 10.45 or 12.15 direct to Tenterden arriving at 12.26 and 13.56 respectively. Return buses leave Tenterden at 16.00 and 17.30. The 16.00 bus affords the option to break the journey at Cranbrook and visit Larkins Alehouse, then pick up the following 297 bus. The second option is to take the train leaving Sevenoaks at 11.07 via Tonbridge (11.17) to Headcorn arriving at 11.39, to connect with Arriva bus number 12 leaving Headcorn at 11.53 arriving in Tenterden at 12.17. Return buses leave Tenterden at 15.25, 16.25 and 17.25. Return trains leave Headcorn at 13 and 43 minutes past the hour.
